RMIT Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarship (VCPS)
Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarship (VCPS) is offered by RMIT University Australia to both local and international students who are conducting research in several fields. Scholarship is based on performance of students during the academic year. There are 10 VCPS scholarships are available during 2016 academic year. Duration of this scholarship is 3 years as full time study at RMIT. There is possibility of 6 months extension subject to satisfactory performance.
To be eligible for VCPS scholarship, you must hold and currently completing one of these degree;
- Master degree by research
- Mast degree by course work which has significant research component
- Hons degree with first class hons
- A 4 years bachelor degree with minimum CGPA of 4 or 80% or above
You must be Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Australia permanent resident or international student who started his PhD at RMIT university on or after 1st January of current academic year.
Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarship (VCPS) has a generous value. It pays $41,150 and an additional $5,000 research support allowance of per annum to all eligible local and international students. Local students will also receive government-funded Research Training Scheme (RTS) place.
International students will get full tuition fee for complete duration of their degree plus Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) cost.
